EuroPride Summit

Human Rights Conference

As democratic values and fundamental rights face growing threats across Europe, the EuroPride 2025 Human Rights Conference offers a timely space for dialogue, solidarity, and resistance.

Over the course of two days, from June 19 to 20, activists, community leaders, policymakers, and allies will gather to address key issues in the fight for equality across the continent.

Sessions will explore everything from the backlash against trans rights and disinformation campaigns to mental health, migration, inclusion at work, and the impact of increasing militarisation on LGBTQIA+ lives.

Open to all, this conference invites members of the public to join in imagining a more just and inclusive future.

FAIRNESS AND INCLUSION FOR THE TRANS COMMUNITY

Trans communities have become a disproportionate focus of polarised political debate, often used as a proxy for wider cultural tensions. This roundtable explores strategies for defending inclusion, reframing narratives, and affirming trans dignity and human rights across all areas of life, including sport.

COMBATING DISINFORMATION: LGBTQIA+ RIGHTS AND FAKE NEWS

Disinformation has become a powerful tool for undermining democratic values and targeting vulnerable communities. Drawing on international perspectives, this discussion will explore how LGBTQIA+ rights are entangled in broader information conflicts and what can be done to build resilience, reclaim narratives, and safeguard truth.

MAPPING MARGINS: TOWARDS A MORE INTERSECTIONAL PRIDE

“There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives.” With this insight from Audre Lorde as a starting point, this session will aim to explore how we can successfully alter the way we do Prides in order to honour and reflect the interconnections between LGBTQIA+ and other social identities, including race, gender, class, disability, migration status and religion.

OFFICE POLITICS: TECH, POWER, AND THE FIGHT AGAINST DEI ROLLBACKS

As technology continues to evolve, whose values are shaping the future of work? From AI driven hiring tools to shifting workplace cultures that seek to reward dominance over diversity, this roundtable will examine how new technologies and DEI rollbacks intersect. Panelists will explore how to ensure LGBTQIA+ workers remain visible, protected, and empowered in evolving professional environments.
